About The Instructors
Barbara Depta
Barbara Depta, the founder of Resync Your Body and CEO of Resync, is a visionary & authentically compassionate leader with over a decade of experience helping athletes across different professional leagues (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, PGA, LPGA, and MMA) perform at their best by addressing the fascial system.
She learned from her athletic professional journey how cranial rhythm, fascial tissue & neurovascular health were affected by injuries athletes face.
Over the last decade, she has been laser-focused on how fascia impacts other systems that affect athletes’ performance and recovery.
In 2017 she created the Resync supplement line used today by many pro teams in MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and USWNT to improve their recovery.
Her patented training & rehab tool to support neurovascular & myofascial health is used by sports medicine therapists across the US and is part of this workshop.
Barbara has a unique background with one mission: to help you create a resilient & peaceful body so you can feel your best and stay injury-free. Barbara’s motto is “An Under Recovered Body Becomes An Injured Body™.”
Lauri D. Nemetz
Lauri is an Adjunct Professor at Pace University (Pleasantville, NY), a 2020 recipient of the President’s Award for Outstanding Contribution; a visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine at Rush University Medical Center (Chicago, IL); and an anatomical dissector and lead teacher with several projects including the Fascial Net Plastination Project (FNPP) and KNM-Labs with Leslie Kaminoff (Yoga Anatomy).
She was a senior faculty member and dissection assistant for Anatomy Trains® from 2010 to 2020, certified by Thomas Myers.
She is a New York licensed creative arts therapist (LCAT), an active member of the American Association for Anatomy, a board-certified dance/movement therapist and member of the American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA), a certified yoga teacher at the 500-hour level, a Stott Pilates instructor, and certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT).
Lauri has exhibited her artwork internationally with themes of anatomy and movement and also kayak guides occasionally, in addition to being a dedicated trail walker and runner. She loves creating spaces for growth and learning.
